VistaJet is the first and only global aviation company. We are looking for a Sales and Strategy Analyst to join our team in New York City to act as the direct link between our sales and reporting functions.

 

You will be responsible for driving Program revenue through analysis of performance of the North America region and ensure the relevant information/data is readily available to enable strong commercial decisions to be made.

 

VistaJet’s signature Program service offers customers a bespoke subscription of flight hours on its fleet of super-mid and long range jets, to fly them anywhere and at any time.

 

Using numbers to track KPIs, and delving further into business case analysis will be a major driving force for you.  However, understanding how to use this information to help make commercial decisions and communicating this to a wide variety of stakeholders is equally as vital.

Your Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the annual business planning process including the establishment of budgets and forecasting of annual net hours targets based on market revenue opportunities;
  • Monitoring team performance using set KPIs and reporting back to EVP Program Sales and President US;
  • Undertaking weekly and monthly past performance analysis to drive decision making;
  • Application and deployment of pricing policies, and the development of pricing models, tender responses, customer specific deals and pricing for major accounts. You will sit within the business to optimise price and margin and assist on deployment activity;
  • Liaising with Marketing to create strategic marketing plans based on date on key past performers and events;
  • Hosting weekly meetings with President US and Team Leader Program Exec US to assist them in identifying revenue opportunities and areas for improvement in individual and team performance;
  • Developing strong, collaborative working relationships with sales management;
  • Understanding seasonal trends, peaks and troughs and their impact on the business;
  • Compiling high quality quantitative and qualitative reports with both an eye to the short-term view as well as the longer-term drivers of value, and assessing the implications for our clients;
  • Presenting analysis in written, graphical and verbal form;
  • Proactively promoting quality improvement in data capturing and reporting;
  • Contributing to the collection of data and information for management purposes and to the use of data to inform management decisions at all levels in the organisation;
  • Contributing to the professional and personal development of sales staff to ensure skills are up to date and good practise from outside and within the organisation is shared.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent and commercial experience;
  • An inquisitive mind to obtain information that helps the business provide a unique understanding of markets;
  • Proven analytical skills to critically analyse data and identify trends and key drivers. Proficiency in Excel is essential;
  • Ability to work in a targeted and fast paced environment, think quickly. perform under pressure and deliver contributions to strict deadlines, while adapting to unforeseen challenges;
  • The ability to construct and articulate a well-reasoned and logical argument, evidenced by supporting data and with clearly articulated assumptions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication at all levels and comfortable collaborating with internal stakeholders;
  • A proactive, team player who always acts for the business’ best interest. You work flexibly with colleagues across the businesses towards common goals;
  • Excellent attention to detail and the capability to work accurately with numbers.
