    We are looking for a Hong Kong-based Marketing & Research Assistant to join our marketing team and play an integral role in the seamless transitioning of marketing campaigns to sale lead generations. You will report to our Director of Marketing & Communications, Asia.

    Your Responsibilities

    As Assistant to Director of Marketing & Communications, Asia:


    • Assisting with daily administration and logistics arrangements related to the marketing department in Asia.
    • Executing regional events and coordinating the entire cycle of event logistics.
    • Working with the rest of the marketing team to ensure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adopting relevant global content for regional use.
    • Providing recommendations to drive future digital marketing initiatives, sharing insights to boost social media followers and engagement rates, especially on WeChat and Weibo. Responding to enquiries gathered on social media.
    • Monitoring the company’s Chinese website, updating content and measuring the impact of current strategy; providing feedback to further boost traffic and engagement rates. 
    • Working with external agencies, sourcing and managing suppliers to support any marketing and public relations functions.
    • Keeping marketing stock inventory in check and updating the inventory database regularly and managing paperwork and courier arrangements.
    • Generating reports and statistics when required. Optimizing and reporting on lessons learned in order to repeat our successes (test and learn); updating the team on campaign progress, analyzing the outcome of each campaign, providing reports and recommendations.
    • Providing regional support for all marketing-related activities and working with the marketing team worldwide.


    On Market Research:


    • Proactively searching for currently ‘cold’ leads with an identifiable need for VistaJet’s services.
    • Developing databases and mailing lists through local businesses, industry and social event publications.
    • Ensuring research is adequately captured and updated on Salesforce for use by Program Executives, and briefing the Program team for meetings.
    • Following up on direct marketing campaigns and events to preserve the interest of leads and cold prospects by maintaining continuous contact via email before they are ready to be passed to the Program team.
    • Periodically scanning the database for incomplete information to ensure it is kept accurately up to date.
    • Formatting and presenting research related to the cultural, financial, governmental and business environment which may affect VistaJet’s business, prospective client lists and strategic sales and marketing plans.
    • Developing reports on sales trends and consumer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits, and presenting findings in the most relevant way for the intended audience.
    • Regularly communicating with the marketing team on ways to optimize the customer offering and campaigns based on the research findings.

    Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

    • You’re an ambitious Business, Marketing or Economics graduate at the early stages of your career.
    • Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
    • Experience in event management, handling social media campaigns and digital platforms, knowledge of design software is a plus.
    • An analytical mindset, with a solid understanding of managing and utilizing data to drive marketing campaigns and sales prospect decisions. Familiarization with database management tools desired but not required.
    • Digital marketing savvy including web analytics, search, display, lead generation and acquisition strategies.
    • IT proficient, with particular skills in Excel, and the ability to quickly master new systems and software. Previous experience with Salesforce will be advantageous.
    • Ability to exercise the highest level of discretion when dealing with confidential information.
    • Able to stand by during irregular office hours and be comfortable with changing requirements.
    • Ability to cope with last-minute changes and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
    • A self-starter and detail-minded team player with great organizational and interpersonal skills.
