VistaJet is the first and only global aviation company. Our Marketing team is looking for a Market Research Analyst to join them in Hong Kong.


The Market Research Analyst is integral to the seamless transitioning of a client-prospect from inquiry to sales engagement; acting as a liaison between the Marketing and Sales teams. 


This role would suit an ambitious graduate or individual in the early stages of their career, with ambitions to progress into a client-facing sales role or more senior marketing role.

Your Responsibilities

Managing the activity chain from lead generation to the end of the pre-sale process:

  • Minding the SalesForce database; proactively searching for currently ‘cold’ leads with an identifiable need for VistaJet’s services. Ensure that research and correspondence with prospects is adequately captured and updated on SalesForce for use by Sales Vice Presidents;
  • Initiating telephone discussions to establish relationships with prospective customers in order to set up face-to-face qualified meetings for Sales Vice Presidents;
  • Supporting Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents by coordinating and briefing for prospect meetings;
  • Following-up on events and direct marketing campaigns to preserve the interest of prospective customers by maintaining continuous contact via email and telephone;
  • Periodically scanning the database for incomplete information to ensure it is kept accurately up-to-date;
  • Handling incoming enquiries from prospective customers and stakeholders, ensuring all enquiries are answered in a timely and appropriate manner;
  • Developing databases and mailing lists through local business, industry and social event publications.


Market analysis and statistical reporting:

  • Providing appropriate periodic reports on Key Performance Indicators, Lead Source Tracking, calls made, qualified calls description, and meetings and activities accomplished;
  • Formatting and presenting research related to cultural, financial, governmental and business environment which may affect VistaJet’s business, prospective client lists and strategic sales plans;
  • Developing reports on sales trends and consumer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits; presenting findings in the most relevant way for the intended audience.


Direct marketing:

  • Regularly communicating with the marketing team on ways to optimise the customer offering;
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team on additional projects including, but not limited to, individual prospect mailings and events;
  • Reporting on the success of direct marketing campaigns and identify room for improvement.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience


  • Educated to degree level, most probably with a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a similar discipline;
  • Proficient in Mandarin, Cantonese and English;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to liaise at Board/Director/Executive Level;
  • Familiarisation with the sales process;
  • An analytical mindset, with a solid understanding of managing and utilising data to drive sales prospecting decisions;
  • IT proficient, with particular skill in Excel, and the ability to quickly master new systems and software;
  • Ability to professionally represent VistaJet via telephone and email communication, without fear or apprehension of cold calling;
  • Exercises the highest level of discretion when dealing with confidential information.



  • Familiarisation with database management tools desired but not required;
  • Previous experience of Salesforce is advantageous.
