Job Profile

We are looking for an IT Administrator with excellent interpersonal and troubleshooting skills, and along with a broad range of technical knowledge and experience, to join VistaJet’s busy and growing New York City office. The successful candidate will be the sole IT team member in the New York office, however will be joining a wider, international and highly skilled IT department.

 

The primary focus of the role will be ownership of all aspects of IT support for the New York office. In addition, the role will be able to contribute to support of users across VistaJet’s other international sites, along with wider project work within the IT department.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience with IT administration and user support;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written and spoken English and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users – both in-person and remotely;
  • The ability to provide an excellent standard of desktop support, including users on Microsoft and Apple operating systems and a range of mobile phone platforms;
  • Prepared to work under your own direction, with excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • The ability to work under pressure and go the extra mile when needed;
  • Skills and experience with Microsoft and Linux server operating systems, including both on-premise VMware vSphere and Amazon AWS cloud platforms;
  • Skills and experience with Microsoft Infrastructure services, such as Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange and Office 365;
  • Familiarity of Cisco networking, including switches, firewalls and Unified Communications Manager;
  • Motivated to learn and develop new skills;
  • Able and willing to travel internationally.
