    Our Purchasing department is expanding and we are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to be part our purchasing team based in Malta.

     

    The Purchasing Administrator will play a key role in the overall procurement process and in the management of our global network of suppliers.

     

    Your Responsibilities

    • Assist in coordinating activities to ensure that department objectives are achieved;
    • Contact regularly with current suppliers / vendors to maintain effective business relationships and productive cooperation with them in order to optimise the services provided in terms of performance, quality and cost;
    • Maintaining stock levels and monitoring records of stocks ordered and received - Issuing of Purchase orders and follow up orders until delivered;
    • Assist in the logistics of goods from point to point and Analysing;
    • Interact cross-functionally with key stakeholders;
    • Tracking purchasing activities and measurements;
    • Assist and support Purchasing Managers in developing and implementing the purchasing strategy for the Company;
    • Make sure Company policy and procedures are taken into consideration throughout;
    • Assist in analysing data to monitor performance and plan improvements for stores;
    • Assist in analysing logistical problems and producing new solutions;
    • Assist in the physical preparation of on board products for the VistaJet Fleet.

    Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

    • Tertiary level of education and / or minimum of 2 years in the procurement of supplies and services (ideally both);
    • Ability to communicate well in English, both spoken and written;
    • Strong negotiation skills;
    • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills;
    • Strong commercial focus and business-critical analysis;
    • Creative and innovative thinking;
    • Experience to work in a fast pace environment;
    • Team player, self-driven, taking initiative and enthusiastic;
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure;
    • Willing to travel when/if necessary;
    • Aviation experience is essential;
    • Experience on SAP is considered as an Asset.
