    VistaJet, the first and only global aviation company, is looking for a Senior IT Administrator to join its IT infrastructure and support team in Malta. 


    Founded in 2004 by Thomas Flohr, the company pioneered an innovative business model where customers have access to an entire fleet whilst paying only for the hours they fly, free of the responsibilities and asset risks linked to aircraft ownership.


    As an excellent communicator, technical guru and innovator, you will work alongside internal and external users in Malta, as well as users in remote sites.


    You will focus on project work and 2nd line user support, but as a member of a small-to-medium sized IT team, it is expected you to also contribute with 1st line support as well as overseeing the work of our junior administrators. 


    Your Responsibilities

    • Managing day-to-day infrastructure;
    • Providing technical support to users in Malta and remotely;
    • Coordinating and supporting the IT team, especially the junior members;
    • 2nd line user online support, as well as 1st line;
    • Managing in-house technologies;
    • Coordinating connectivity-related issues;
    • Communicating dynamically and efficiently both with technical both with non-technical parties.

    Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

    • At least 5-7 years of experience in IT administration performing Infrastructure administration as well as user support;
    • Degree in computer science or related subject (technical certifications are considered a plus);
    • A team-player who is motivated to develop others and be a role model for junior administrators;
    • Perfect command and acknowledge of Linux, Amazon Web Services administration (AWS), Microsoft Windows Servers and Cisco Network System;
    • Acknowledge of Backup Technologies (including Veeam), Microsoft SQL, VMware vSphere and Citrix XenApp are considered as remarkable assets;
    • Fluency in English is a must.
