  • Job Profile

    We are looking for an IT Administrator with excellent interpersonal and troubleshooting skills, and along with a broad range of technical knowledge and experience, to join VistaJet’s busy and growing Malta office. 

     

    You will provide support to users in our Malta office as well as our supporting offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and our flying crew. 

     

    As an IT administrator you are expected to manage, maintain, support and improve a wide range of technologies spread over different locations and Data Centres.

    Your Responsibilities

     

    Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

    • At least 4 years’ experience in IT administration, performing 1st and 2nd line user support and infrasturcture administration;
    • Degree in computer science or a related subject. Technical certifications will be considered a plus;
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written and spoken English and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical users – both in-person and remotely;
    • The ability to provide an excellent standard of desktop support, including users on Microsoft and Apple operating systems and a range of mobile phone platforms;
    • Prepared to work under your own direction, with excellent organisational and time management skills;
    • The ability to work under pressure and go the extra mile when needed;

    • Linux system administration
    • Sizing, configuration and management of physical and virtual Linux Systems
    • VmWare (Vsphere);
    • AWS (Amazon Web Service)
    • Ansible
    • Shell scripting
    • Cluster and High availability knowledge 
    • Basic networking skills
    • Comfortable with Hardware
    • Logging requests
    • Able to follow processes/procedures
    • Willing to learn/support in-house technologies
    • Active directory
