    Our Accounting team is looking for an Accountant in Malta to assist with the processing of all operational payments and related activities.

    It has been five years since VistaJet established its operational headquarters in Malta. Today, 250 team members work at our office at SkyParks Business Centre.

    Your Responsibilities

    Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Accounting, your main responsibilities will include:

    • Performing month-end and year-end closing tasks of Holding entities within the Group;
    • Responsible for ensuring the consolidation, eliminations and recharges for intercompany;
    • Liaising with relevant finance teams to ensure all inter-company transactions are accounted for correctly;
    • Raising inter-company invoices as required to meet local statutory requirements;
    • Preparing and reviewing monthly VAT Returns;
    • Performing monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including accruals and prepayments;
    • Preparation and review of financial statements;
    • Working with external auditors during annual reviews/audits by preparing information requests and addressing inquiries;
    • Assisting with Intra and Inter company Policies and Procedures;
    • Assisting with ad hoc business and internal management requests

    Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

    • A strong Financial and Accountancy background with at least 3 years' experience in a Finance Position;
    • Recognised degree in accounting (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) or is making good progress towards obtaining the certification;
    • Excellent communication skills and fluency in Business English;
    • A flexible, can do attitude that will equip you for working in a fast growing international work environment;
    • The ability to work on his/her own initiative and have excellent time-management skills, specifically the ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks;
    • A good team player and understands the necessity of keeping a dynamic working environment;
    • Be able to be dedicated, result-oriented and be a team player;
    • Knowledge of SAP will be considerate as a strong asset.
