Senior Director Product, Finance

As the Senior Director Product, Finance, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of our finance product portfolio. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, marketing, and finance to drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep domain expertise in finance, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering innovative and successful products.

• Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for our finance product portfolio, aligned with overall business objectives and market trends.
• Lead a team of product managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive product innovation and excellence.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to prioritize features, plan releases, and deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with finance, sales, and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, sales enablement materials, and marketing campaigns to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
• Act as a subject matter expert on finance industry trends, regulations, and best practices, providing insights and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal users from sales, flight operations, and finance business partners to gather feedback, validate product concepts, and drive user satisfaction.
• Develop return on investment (ROI) analyses for new features and feature updates.
• Develop post-release documentation and user guides.
• Develop analytics and reporting to evaluate costs and assess adoption rates effectively.
• Take responsibility for collecting business requirements and translating them into detailed functional requirements for the engineering team.
• Supervise the transformation of functional requirements into actionable tickets, either independently or through team collaboration. Coordinate closely with the engineering team to effectively plan and execute sprints.
• Ensure the finance product team reviews and prioritises incident defects and security vulnerability fixes among the new project work.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to solve critical business problems and execute on Vista Global’s vision of automation of many business functions.
• Refine and prioritize the product backlog for a variety of products, including non-functional requirements, on a regular basis in collaboration with the team such that it mitigates operational / technical / financial risk, accelerates team learning, achieves expected outcomes, and optimizes the value of the work performed.

• 10+ years of experience in product management leadership, with at least 5 years of experience specifically in finance-related products.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing high-performing product management teams.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate market insights and customer needs into product strategy and execution.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
• Experience working in an agile development environment, with proficiency in agile methodologies and tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
